I have to ask the question - how dim do you have to be to fall for it?
Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

A mage's abilities are:supernatural strength,able to cast magic spells,able to survive for a long period of time.
Her staff/rod appears when shes battling with someone.

You can draw her with her likes and dislikes,her casting spells or just her alone.

Do you mean how the free stuff works? They are all links to free-ware programs around the internet which anyone is allowed to access for free. Just follow a link to the program download, have a read about the program there and see if it is something you might like to have a go of. Download it and off you go. I always like to scan everything I download just to be sure but these sites were all offered by other DA members and are pretty safe. A lot of people use GIMP which is a free version of a program like photoshop (can do the same things with Gimp so that's one to consider for sure).

If you mean you would like help with how to use DA, just let me know what you are unsure of and I will help you any way I can ok. Cheers and welcome to DA!

This is a great resource to share with deviantart. :) This is surely encouraging to young artists who may not have the big bucks to shell out for photoshop(most digital art), or MAYA (3d).

yes there are TONS of perfectly great free progs around (in particular Gimp which is like photoshop). I hope to be able to collect lots more links for people to explore.

I think you should also mention dafonts.com - a free website with great original fonts for text (also webdings, if you care about those). Some people have even made fan-fonts of popular series! For example, there is a text that looks like POKEMON text (A through Z of it in 3 different styles!) or A Series of Unfortunate Events.. some people even playfully make a parody name for a series their font is based off of like Silent Hill's font is named Silent Hell. XD I've downloaded a total of 218 unique fonts and I've only looked in 3 of the 12 categories for fonts they have.
